ABOUT BERT HELLINGER

"(This process) looks for what is behind everything, what unifies… Essentially it brings the ultimate to light. This means that a therapy is only complete when this ultimate is brought to light and when a person is deeply in unison with it."
No Waves Without the Ocean by Bert Hellinger

Bert Hellinger is an 86-year-old German applied philosopher, world-recognized teacher and author of many books. He left the Catholic Priesthood after l6 years of missionary work with the Zulu to study many therapeutic approaches. Through live experience he has come to understand something about the natural orders of love that underlie human relationships and about the impact of blind loyalties and excluded family members. In thousands of Hellinger family constellations done around the world certain phenomena keep recurring that show us a deeper strata of experience wherein the most obstinate obstacles to happiness find natural resolution. ABOUT DR. PETER LEVINE

"We are awakened to a new self, and to a New World. With gentle and appropriate guidance, we can successfully navigate the troubled waters of our traumas. We can learn, as well, how to guide each other through the nightmares created by these altered states, and reconnect with the stream of life."
Healing Trauma by Dr. Peter Levine

A psychologist who also holds a Ph.D. in medical and biological physics, Peter Levine reminds us that as humans our nervous systems have the same instinctual responses as other animals. However, unlike animals in nature our natural impulses to fight or flee overwhelming situations are often thwarted. Those natural responses then become embedded in our nervous systems, where they are experienced as frozen states or states of collapse, anxiety or over-stimulation. Dr. Levine's approach helps release this trauma from the body and restores containment and self-regulation.  www.traumahealing.com
